Despite what the EPA wants us to believe, background radiation in a recent St. Louis rain was 3 times higher than a previous June reading. Oklahoma City readings and reports from rain readings in Canada all show “dangerous radiation levels” (nearly 10 times normal background levels), while market peaches checked in the LA area contained double the radiation as background readings. With cesium 134 and 137 levels doubling in Japan over the past two months, it is safe to say that Fukushima fallout is still with us, and
therefore, it is never too late to take precautions. Some locals have noticed what appears as radiation illness in pets (especially those drinking from puddles) and are questioning slow recovery time from summer colds, especially children. We have previously given nutritional information on protection from radiation (now posted on www.rainbowconnection.net) and in this Scoop we focus on treating the effects of Fukushima fallout with homeopathic remedies. Corners has some of these remedies and others can be
special ordered. We encourage you to consult your local homeopathic practitioner as well.
X-ray (made from X-ray radiation) used to counteract the effects of ionizing radiation exposure (from diagnostic x-rays, radiation treatment for cancer, etc). Use 30C potency with 4 pills dissolved into water or taken under the tongue and taken after exposure occurs. Multiple doses can be taken in one day if necessary. Some people use this remedy to neutralize radiation from cell phones, CAT scans, wireless routers, airplane flights, microwave ovens, cell phone antennas, “smart meters,” and so on, by holding the remedy tube
to the solar plexus for 10 minutes 2-3 times a week. Cadmium sulphuricum is also a leading remedy for the side effects of radiation exposure where there is a lot of exhaustion, icy coldness, nausea and vomiting, weight loss, and hair loss. Caesium muriaticum – exposure to cesium which from nuclear weapons and power plants is cesium 137 (half-life 30 years). Radium bromatum is used for burned skin (including eyes and intestines) after radiation exposure. Mild radiation exposure can feel more like a light sunburn or internal inflammation. Plutonium nitricum is for exposure to plutonium particles, heaviness, cold limbs, dark dreams and carrying heaviness of war, worry/fear about future, ancestral grief. Strontium carbonicum – exposure to strontium, which is a common waste
product of nuclear power plants. Radioactive strontium causes bone loss. Sulphuricum acidum – bleeding gums and mouth sores, tremor/weakness, hot flushes, acid stomach, exposure to lead. Uranim nitricum – sudden increase in urination, degeneration of liver,
weight loss, debility, diabetes, open sores.
Homeopath Susan Curtis also gives recommendations in her book “Surviving with Natural Remedies.” For the current disaster in Fukushima, the following protocol for homeopathic protection is recommended: take Radium bromatum, Plutonium nitricum, Strontium carbonicum and Caesium muriaticum. For people with weak thyroids (e.g. Hashimotos), use Radium iodatum instead of Radium bromatum. Use 30C potency and take individually or order a custom-made combination remedy made up from all four indicated remedies from a homeopathic pharmacy. (littlemountainhomeopathy.com) Dosage for general protection: Take one dose once per week of the homeopathic combination remedy (e.g. Radium / Plutonium nitricum / Strontium carbonicum / Caesium muriaticum). Repeat for several weeks until danger of exposure has passed.
Other helpful remedies for mild effects to pets and children are: Phosphorus (fever, internal heat/burning, desire for lots of cold drinks, empty feeling in stomach with nausea, anxiousness and melancholy). Arsenicum (nausea, retching and vomiting after eating and drinking, curling up, very anxious, fearful and restless). Dosage: Give a 30C potency of the indicated remedy 2-3 times per day until symptoms subside.
In addition let’s not forget good old fashioned salt bathing which has also been used for chemical exposure…. If you’ve been exposed to low-grade radioactive materials from the atmosphere, you can dissolve 2 pounds of baking soda in a tub of hot water, and soak in the water until it cools. Do this once a day or once a week. Alternatively, dissolve 1 pound of sea salt and 1 pound of baking soda in a hot bath as hot as can be tolerated and soak in the water until the bath becomes cool. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes. Afterwards, do not shower or rinse the salt off your body for4-8 hours. At Corners we carry sea salt in bulk, plus various types of
